Diablo Lightning Breath + Attack Moving – Heroes of the Storm Tutorial

1. Diablo’s 2nd Heroic, Lightning Breath, received a small change with the most recent patch: It now initiates the cast in the direction Diablo is currently facing. This means that you will need to orient your hero model prior to casting whereas before the patch you could simple R+click in the direction you desired. Losing a second or two off of the 4 second cast time is a mistake no one wants to make.

2. Attack Moving, Stutter Stepping, Orb Walking, whatever you want to call it. The basic idea is to move while dealing full damage. In Heroes, an Attack Move (A + Left Click on Empty Ground under normal settings) will target the closet enemy be it a hero or minion or mercenary. To accurately chase/kite/target a specific hero you will have to left click on their character model.

Right clicking achieves the same result, but a missed A + Left Click will still result in your Hero attacking at the very least. Right Clicking on the other hand will result in a move command being issued if you miss your target. That’s why I prefer the A + Left Click version. Hope it helped! See ya on the Nexus 🙂
